NEWS !!! In late 2006 we began presenting "Qualified Electrical Worker" training and certification classes to comply with the Federal OSHA mandate that anyone working with, near or who has possible exposure to circuits and equipment operating at 50 volts or more be trained. The classes have been very successful and we now offer certifications of on the job performance verifications for the following classifications: Industrial Electrician Commercial Electrician Residential Electrician Electrical Technician Lineman (including Bucket Truck and Digger Derrick certifications) Documentation provided for all training and certifications by a certified and Licensed Master Electrician |
New Training for Electricians and those working around electricity. "QUALIFIED ELECTRICAL WORKER" With the OSHA mandated requirements to follow NFPA 70E and the Electrical Safety Requirements in the workplace we have put together training classes for Supervisors, Electricians, and for Non Electricians. The Electricians course is 8 hours and covers basic electrical safety and concepts including the newest ARC FLASH and ARC BLAST requirements Fees : 1-5 participants ($1000) additional over 5 ($250 each person) The Electrical Technician course is 6 hours and covers the same areas as the Electricians course except not as detailed as is required for electricians. Course concentrates on the safety aspects of the job technicians perform as required to be considered a "Qualified Electrical Worker" by the OSHA definitions. Fees : 1-5 participants ($750) additional over 5 ($175 each person) The NON ELECTRICIANS course is 4 hours and covers Basic Electrical Safety, Arc Flash, Arc Blast, and General Precautions. Fees : 1-5 participants ($500) additional over 5 ($150 each person) Managers Class is a 2 hour long electrical safety overview of the NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA electrical safety requirements and how they apply to employees and the company.
