| Scheduling: Class schedules are posted on the page pertaining to each type of class; Continuing Education, Exam Preparation, Apprenticeship Training. We will post online shortly our calendar of classes through December 2005 in Adobe Acrobat format for download. Transfers: Transfers to another class will be taken anytime up to the start of the class scheduled and registered for. Should an emergency arise we will make every attempt to reschedule the student for the next available class that meets their needs and schedule. There is no fees for rescheduling a class. Retakes: Should something happen and a student is unable to complete the class, a retake of the class can be scheduled. This is for emergencies and illness and other unavoidable situations. In every case the student must attend the complete class to get credit for the class. A "retake" means a complete retake from the beginning to the end of the class. Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, students should check this website for postings of class cancellations and rescheduling, or call Dan Dudley at 432-967-4280 for information on the class. Class Size: Class size is limited to a minimum of 5 students and a maximum of 20 students. Should the enrollments for a class fail to reach the 5 minimum required , students will be notified using the preferred method as listed on their enrollment form at least 24 hours prior to the class date. If there is room in the next scheduled class students will be given the opportunity to transfer their registration to that class, or another class that meets their needs and schedule. If this cannot be accomplished a full refund will be given. Instructor Class Cancellations and "No Shows" Should an instructor have to cancel a class students will be notified as per their preferred method of notification at least 24 hours in advance of the class date. Transfers to another class will be offered and if this is not possible for any reason a full refund will be given. In the event of an "Instructor No Show", if possible attempts will be made to have another instructor cover the class, if this is not possible we will attempt and offer all registered students the opportunity to transfer to another class of their choice. If a transfer cannot be accomplished a full refund will be given. Emergencies: Should an emergency arise which prevents a student from attending a class they have previously registered for, the student should inform CWTC by phone at 432-366-7676 as soon as possible so that appropriate arrangements for transfer or refund can be made. Emergencies that happen within 24 hours of the class date which prevent a student from attending the class will be handled on a case by case basis. Every effort will be made to reschedule the student for another class if this cannot be accomplished then a case by case based determination will be made which may offer a partial refund, no refund or a full refund. The student in this case will always have the option at any point to reschedule the class with no fees or penalties. Other Refunds: Should a student not be able to attend a class they have registered for, a transfer to another class is offered first. If a refund is requested the following rules apply: 100% or full refund if cancelled 7 or more working days prior to class. 50% refund if cancelled between 6 and 2 days prior to class. No Shows day of class - no refund. Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration on a case by case basis. |
